Publisher Silver Lining Interactive and developer Sunny Lab have confirmed that their cozy side-scrolling adventure RPG, The Witch’s Bakery, is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. These versions join the previously announced Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) releases, ensuring that more players can enjoy the game’s heartwarming story and magical charm.
A Wholesome Parisian Tale

Set in a reimagined modern Paris, The Witch’s Bakery follows Lunne, a kind-hearted witch who opens her own bakery in the city. She isn’t an ordinary baker — Lunne has the power to see into people’s hearts and heal their emotions through her magical pastries.
The game focuses on her everyday life, balancing her work and her gift for emotional healing. Each day is divided into three parts. During the day, Lunne runs her bakery with her friends and serves customers. In the evening, she explores the city, meets new people, and discovers hidden stories. At night, she returns to her cozy atelier to rest, practice magic, and decorate her home.
As the days pass, players will earn money, experience, and fame. They will also form bonds with the citizens of Paris, helping them find happiness once again. This structure creates a gentle rhythm that mirrors the pace of daily life.
Exploring the City of Lights

Outside her bakery, Lunne can explore colorful districts inspired by real locations in Paris. One example is Le Quai des Bouquinistes, a famous area in the sixth arrondissement known for its riverside bookstalls and nostalgic charm. Here, players can browse through vinyl records, old posters, and collectibles while taking in the view of Notre-Dame.
Each district offers something new to discover. There are different characters, activities, and stores that add depth to the world. As Lunne explores, she learns new recipes, unlocks skills, and finds new ways to use her magic. These discoveries strengthen her relationships and expand her bakery’s reputation across the city.
Inside the Heart Palace

A major part of the story involves Lunne’s ability to enter the Heart Palace, a magical space inside people’s minds. These areas represent emotional struggles that are too strong to face in the real world. To help, Lunne must guide the person’s lost emotions back to their heart.
Each Heart Palace mixes exploration, light puzzles, and emotional storytelling. As Lunne learns more about a person’s pain, she discovers the key ingredient needed to bake a special bread that will heal them. Through these journeys, players experience stories about empathy, vulnerability, and hope.
A Cozy and Magical Adventure

The Witch’s Bakery blends heartfelt storytelling with gentle RPG mechanics. Its art style is warm and colorful, creating a comforting atmosphere that feels both personal and relaxing. The focus on emotion, friendship, and self-discovery gives it a tone similar to cozy life sims, but with a magical twist.
Now that the game is confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, players can expect improved visuals and smoother performance on modern platforms. A new trailer celebrating the announcement shows Lunne’s adventures across Paris and gives a closer look at the game’s enchanting world.
The Witch’s Bakery will launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
