Tokyo Game Show 2025 Reveal Venue Layout and New Charity Project Announced

The organizers of Tokyo Game Show 2025 have released the full venue map for this year’s event, just one week before doors open to the gaming industry and public at Makuhari Messe. The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), which runs the annual gaming convention, published the complete layout showing how the massive event will spread across the entire Makuhari Messe complex.

This year’s show will use all 11 exhibition halls plus the Event Hall and International Conference Hall. The main Event Stage returns to Hall 1, while the Family Game Park for public attendees will take place in the Event Hall during weekend days. New this year is an expanded focus on emerging technology, with dedicated areas for AI technology, AR/VR experiences, and smartphone gaming spread across Halls 9-11. The indie game showcase will occupy space in multiple halls, including the second floor Esplanade area.

Business attendees will find meeting spaces in the International Conference Hall, while the general public can explore gaming hardware, esports demonstrations, and accessibility-focused gaming in the later-numbered halls. Food courts will be set up south of Halls 4-6 and Hall 9, with cosplay areas positioned on both sides of Hall 9 for costume enthusiasts.

New Charity Initiative Targets Children’s Support

Alongside the venue announcement for Tokyo Game Show 2025, CESA introduced “GAME with YOU Donation,” a new fundraising effort aimed at supporting children’s education and development. The charity project will run from September 2025 through March 2026, accepting donations only from individual gaming enthusiasts rather than corporate sponsors.

Attendees can donate using NTT DOCOMO’s d Payment system by scanning QR codes at the venue or through the official Tokyo Game Show website. CESA said this cashless approach makes it easier for visitors to participate in the charity effort. Tokyo Game Show 2025 is scheduled to begin next week, with business days followed by public access over the weekend.
