The Phantom Thieves have officially infiltrated Overwatch 2 with the latest collaboration featuring Persona 5 Royal. Beginning on September 16, 2025, players can enjoy a limited-time event filled with stylish skins, cosmetics, and challenges. The crossover runs until September 30, 2025, giving fans two weeks to grab everything before it disappears.
Legendary Skins and Cosmetics
The highlight of the event is five new Legendary skins inspired by the Phantom Thieves. Wuyang transforms into Joker, Mercy embraces Panther’s flair, Genji dons Skull’s rebellious look, D.Va channels Queen’s strength, and Lifeweaver becomes Fox.

Players can buy the skins individually for 1,900 Overwatch Coins. However, character bundles are also available at 2,800 Coins, adding sprays, voice lines, highlight intros, and more. For the best value, the Phantom Thieves Mega Bundle costs 6,900 Coins and includes all five skins plus bonus cosmetics such as the Jokermari Weapon Charm.
Challenges and Free Rewards

Besides premium bundles, the event features earnable rewards through in-game challenges. Players can unlock free Persona 5-themed cosmetics like a Morgana player icon and name card. Therefore, even those who don’t spend Coins can still showcase their Phantom Thieves pride.
Persona 5 Style in Overwatch 2
This collaboration goes beyond appearances. Several Easter eggs link directly to Persona 5. For example, Mercy’s wings reflect Panther’s Carmen, and D.Va’s mech mirrors Queen’s motorcycle, Johanna. Wuyang’s staff nods to Arsene, while heroes leave stylish paint splashes as they move, echoing Persona 5’s iconic art.

The event hub also borrows Persona 5’s bold UI design. In addition, fans might spot a Velvet Room-inspired location hidden across maps. To top it off, Persona 5 character artist Shigenori Soejima created the official collaboration artwork.
Live Now Until September 30
The Overwatch 2 x Persona 5 Royal collaboration is live as part of Season 18’s mid-season update. Players can also expect balance changes and fresh content, including Tracer’s debut in Overwatch Stadium. With the Phantom Thieves event ending on September 30, players should act fast to claim these stylish rewards before they vanish back into the Metaverse.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, ensuring players worldwide can join the action and experience the Persona 5 crossover.
