The Pokémon Company, in collaboration with Wonderfy Inc., has released Pokémon Friends, a charming plush-themed puzzle game now available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
The game was officially announced during the latest Pokémon Presents presentation, offering fans a surprise drop packed with cozy visuals and daily puzzle challenges.
Plush Puzzles and Personalised Rooms

Set in the whimsical Think Town, Pokémon Friends features over 1,200 puzzles, all themed around plush versions of beloved Pokémon. Players solve puzzles to collect yarn, which can be used to craft a wide variety of plush Pokémon pals.
Along the way, townspeople will ask players to help fulfill “friend quests” by gifting them specific plushies. Completing these tasks not only gives each plush a permanent home but also boosts friendship levels with the townsfolk. Rewards include furniture and decorations, which can be used to customize in-game plush rooms.
New puzzles will be added daily, offering continued engagement and fresh challenges for returning players.
Platform Details and Gameplay Reveal

On mobile platforms, Pokémon Friends is free to start, with optional downloadable content available. On the Nintendo Switch, the game is priced at $9.99 USD/42.20 MYR. Both versions support the full range of puzzles and customization features.
An official reveal trailer, showcasing gameplay and key features, has been released on the Pokémon YouTube channel.
This launch comes alongside several announcements from the Pokémon Presents livestream, including the upcoming Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu animated series by Aardman Animation, set to debut in 2027, and new footage of Pokémon Legends Z-A on the next-gen Nintendo Switch 2.
