Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Set for Switch Release in Asia

eastasiasoft has confirmed it will launch the Nintendo Switch version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation both physically and digitally in Asia this summer.

Pre-orders for the physical edition will begin on June 5 through Play-Asia. A Limited Edition will be produced in a run of just 2,000 units and includes the game, a full-color manual, original soundtrack CD, art book, Joy-Con sticker set, mini game case, acrylic character standees, and a numbered certificate, all housed in a collector’s box. A Standard Edition will also be available.

While the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy was originally planned for a Western release on Switch, the titles were later canceled due to non-compliance with Nintendo’s content guidelines. However, the PlayStation 4 versions are still scheduled for physical and digital release in the West in late 2025. In the meantime, eastasiasoft has also announced it will release Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 for Switch in Asia.

Game Overview

Set in the year 20XX, Gamindustri is in chaos following the rise of the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime (ASIC). With morality in steep decline and an overwhelming number of students pledging allegiance to a mysterious figure named Arfoire, law enforcement has failed to act. The world’s balance unravels as the CPUs disappear without a trace.

Players will follow Nepgear, Neptune’s younger sister, alongside IF and Compa, as they uncover the fate of the missing goddesses and struggle to save Gamindustri from ASIC’s influence. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation is a full remake of the second entry in the beloved JRPG series, enhanced with additional content and modern gameplay refinements—making it the definitive edition for new players and series veterans alike.

• Command teams of up to four active combatants, with four additional support characters.
• Send mascot character Stella into dungeons to collect treasures in a unique risk-versus-reward minigame.
