Blizzard has unveiled a new trailer showcasing the upcoming collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6, set to run from May 21 through June 3.
The crossover event introduces a series of themed cosmetics, transforming Overwatch 2 heroes into iconic Street Fighter characters. Highlights include:
- Hanzo as Ryu
- Juno as Chun-Li
- Widowmaker as Cammy
- Zenyatta as Dhalsim
- Winston as Blanka
- Sigma as M. Bison
- Soldier: 76 as Guile
- Kiriko as Juri
Players can also unlock special fighting move emotes and take on limited-time challenges to earn up to 40,000 XP, along with exclusive sprays, voice lines, and a new player title.

Over the past few seasons, Overwatch 2 has featured multiple crossover events with various franchises. Most recently, Blizzard surprised fans by announcing a Street Fighter 6 collaboration less than a month after the Overwatch 2 x Gundam Wing event. This makes Season 16 the first to include two crossovers with external IPs, and notably the first to feature a partnership with a non-Blizzard video game.

Overwatch 2 now includes collaborations with other properties like Cowboy Bebop and Transformers. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will come to Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, along with the new DLC character, Elena.
