SEGA and Singapore Flyer Partner for Sonic-Themed Sky-High Gaming Experience

Singapore Flyer is set to transform one of its capsules into a unique Sonic the Hedgehog gaming experience, in partnership with SEGA and United International Pictures. The Sonic X Shadow Generations capsule will offer visitors a chance to play the latest Sonic game while taking in panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline.

Starting December 26, 2024 through March 23, 2025, guests can enjoy a 30-minute gaming session aboard the observation wheel, playing Sonic X Shadow Generations on a PlayStation5 console. The experience, priced at $79 per person, includes a specially crafted Sonic-themed mocktail, a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie action figure, and exclusive chocolates by renowned chocolatier Janice Wong.

The gaming capsule will operate five daily sessions at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Ticket holders will receive VIP treatment with priority boarding and access to the VIP Lounge. The package also includes complimentary admission to Time Capsule, a 45-minute multisensory experience showcasing Singapore’s history.

To celebrate the launch of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in Singapore cinemas on December 26, the Singapore Flyer will feature character cutouts of Sonic and Shadow for photo opportunities. Additionally, visitors can participate in a sure-win lucky draw by sharing their experience on social media, with prizes including movie merchandise, copies of Sonic X Shadow Generations for PS5, and dining vouchers for 165 Sky Dining.

Nicholas Yong, Managing Director at United International Pictures Singapore and Malaysia, expressed enthusiasm about bringing together these two global icons for a memorable entertainment experience.
