Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Receives a Free Update – New Demon, Subquest, and More

Atlus has exciting news for fans of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance! The recently released version 1.03 update introduces a host of fresh content, enhancing your gaming experience with new features and improvements.

First and foremost, six new Demon Navigators join the roster, thanks to a community vote. You can now team up with iconic demons like Mara, Idun, Mothman, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Hell Biker, and Cleopatra. These navigators will appear at specific locations throughout Da’at and can accompany you on your journey. Some of these characters may require you to complete certain subquests to unlock them.

In addition, players can embark on a new subquest titled “The Guardian of Light.” Speak to Goko in Taito Ward to accept this quest, which also allows you to recruit Marici, a brand-new demon from the Kishin race. To add even more challenge, the update introduces Elite Virtual Trainers, offering a series of tough battles against powerful demons featured in specific subquests. Speak with the female researcher in the terminal room at the Tokyo Diet Building to access these brutal encounters.

The patch notes also address various text and graphical fixes, improvements to the English voiceover, and other performance enhancements, ensuring a smoother gaming experience. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
