The controversy initially stemmed from an alleged interview reported by a Brazilian gaming website. According to the report, an anonymous S-Game developer had supposedly made negative comments about Xbox’s popularity in Asia and the difficulties of developing for Microsoft’s ecosystem. However, S-Game’s official response effectively distances the company from these unverified claims.

As of now, S-Game has confirmed the release of Phantom Blade Zero on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Although they haven’t announced an Xbox version yet, S-Game’s statement suggests they remain open to the possibility in the future.
