Our tier list takes into account each mercenary’s overall utility, combat effectiveness, and synergy potential within various team setups. We’ve carefully analyzed their skills, stats, and performance in different scenarios to provide you with a comprehensive ranking.

The criteria for each ranking are as follows:

Rating(s):

• S Tier – These characters are some of the best in the game, and generally excel at fulfilling their role in most scenarios and are highly recommended to build.
• A Tier – Excellent batch of characters, only falling slightly behind the S-tier units, and can play well in most content.
• B Tier – Still worth the investment and can be pretty solid in certain teams or circumstances.
• C Tier – Situational. May not be worth the investment due to limited usage.
• D Tier – Very situational. Not recommended unless under a specific scenario.

Col	A highly mobile assassin with the highest mobility in the game, good survivability, and significant attack bonuses for allies. Col's versatility makes him suitable for various team compositions, especially as a core assassin, with his evasion, health recovery, and invisibility skills enhancing his effectiveness.
Beryl	A high magic damage dealer with strong single-target and wide-range attacks, coupled with good support utility. Beryl's versatile skill set includes damage reduction, healing, and energy recovery, making her essential for magic damage and a core component of various team compositions.
A Tier
Nungal	A late-game powerhouse with high damage potential from his ultimate skill. Nungal becomes particularly effective when paired with specific teammates and equipment, benefiting from energy recovery and critical hit rate synergy with certain marks.
Magnus	A versatile character with early access to powerful core skills, high AOE damage output, and strong defensive capabilities. Magnus fits well in various team compositions, excelling in both offense and defense while providing valuable aura benefits to allies.
Alexei	A powerful damage dealer with life-stealing effects, invincibility potential, and strong counterattack capabilities. Alexei's versatility allows him to excel in both counterattack and control play styles, making him a formidable presence on the battlefield.
LilyWill	An excellent long-range attacker with high versatility and significant advantages in range and height. LilyWill's strong passive skills enhance her attack capabilities, and her high critical hit and damage bonuses make her especially effective when combined with Col's aura.
NonoWill	A versatile support character with strong infection stacking, various buffs/debuffs, and high mobility. NonoWill's effective attack skills and ability to provide significant team benefits, including damage buffs and group dispel, make her a valuable asset in many team compositions.
B Tier
Momo	A versatile character excelling in both counterattacks and AOE damage. Momo pairs well with other Vlder Tribe characters and has high single-unit damage potential. Her strong synergy with energy recovery characters allows for sustained damage output.
Guzman	A resilient fighter with high attack bonuses at low health and excellent magic damage defense. Guzman can disrupt opponent formations, deal large-scale AOE damage, and life-steal with his ultimate skill. He's also capable of resurrection, making him an underrated powerhouse.
Maitha	An exceptionally fast character with excellent defensive capabilities and support skills. Maitha provides health recovery within a two-grid range and is effective in early game stages and high-difficulty levels.
Faycal	A disruptive character capable of imposing random debuffs and interrupting enemy actions. Faycal performs well in elevated terrains and is particularly useful against Destroyer bosses in specific stages.
Rawiyah	A strong damage dealer with high attack and critical hit bonuses, capable of dealing both powerful single-target and AOE damage. Rawiyah provides valuable bonuses to friendly units with her leadership aura skill, making her a core unit in Sword of Convallaria teams.
