Phantasy Star Online 2 NEW GENESIS ver 2! 3rd Anniversary Now Underway

SEGA has announced that the 3rd anniversary of Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) NEW GENESIS ver 2! is now officially underway.

The special campaign ‘Halpha’s Super Origin Festival’ will begin on April 24th. But even before that, a special countdown campaign has already started on April 17th.

Halpha’s Super Origin Festival Countdown Campaign

For the uninitiated, the festival countdown campaign began on April 17th, 2024, to April 23rd, 2024. Players who logged in during the campaign will get one free Music Disc which features a song from PSO2 NEW GENESIS ver 2! Song Collection Vol.1.

To show appreciation to all the players, SEGA is holding a Phantastic 3rd Anniversary campaign where they are giving away many rare items.

A long list of events and gifts has been prepared by SEGA for the 3rd anniversary of PSO2 NEW GENESIS ver 2! Without further ado, here is a list of upcoming events.

Up to 150 Free Draws | Super Free SG Scratch

Duration: End of the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 (JST).

During Halpha’s Super Origin Festival campaign, players can draw 10 free SG Scratch Tickets per day for up to 150 draws. they can then use these tickets to earn new avatars and support items.

A recommended item by the developers to invest your tickets in is the Delphina Hair/B.

Furthermore, many popular hairstyles and fan-favorite items will be making a return as possible prizes for the free daily tickets, so players who missed out on those in the past would not want to miss this.

Super SG Item Recycle

Duration: End of the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 (JST).

During the event period, SG Scratch Ticket Item Recycling will be held for players to exchange SG Scratch Ticket for Emotes, Weapon Camo, and other items.

The picture below is the recommended item by the developers, which is the 330: Vocal Performance 4.

Players will also be able to receive a variety of rare items during the campaign, including Emotes which are originally given as a bonus to PSO2 players who picked up Quna’s compilation album.

Super “Use the Salon to Your Heart’s Content!” Campaign

Duration: End of the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 (JST).

Players can use the Salon without purchasing or using a Salon Pass S or Salon Free Pass during Halpha’s Super Origin Festival Campaign.

Receive Weekly! Halpha’s Super Origin Gifts

Duration: End of the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (JST), until Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 (JST).

Throughout the campaign, players can receive gifts just by logging in each week. In addition to items commemorating the 3rd anniversary of NEW GENESIS, players will also receive items based on the top-ranking characters from the NGS Character Election held in 2023, items commemorating the 10th anniversary of PSO2es, and more!

Genesis Point Super Boost Campaign

Duration: End of the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 (JST), until 12 pm, Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 (JST).

During this period, the Acquired Rate of Genesis Points earned from Leciel Exploration: Halpha
Environmental Testing Zone Survey will be increased by 500%, allowing players to rack up Genesis Points while gathering Growthment II to exchange for powerful weapons.

Super Treasure Scratch & Pre-announced Urgent Quest

Duration: From 4 am, Monday, April 29th, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 (JST).

By completing limited-time Daily Tasks and Pre-Announced Urgent Quests, players will be able to earn Treasure Scratch Tickets.

The revamped lineup now includes several new powerful items and Growthment II will also be given as a Scratch Count Bonus from the second round onwards.

Each Urgent Quest can be completed twice, the enemy’s HP has also been reduced by 30% during the event.

Super Boost Campaign

Duration: From 4 am Monday, April 29th, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 (JST).

All applicable quests during the period will have a Rare Drop Rate and Drop Item Preset Skill Rate increased by 150%. Furthermore, the upcoming PSO2 Day on May 2nd will offer a prime chance to hunt for rare items.

Super Item Enhancement Support Boost

Duration: From 12 pm, Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 (JST), until the start of scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 (JST).

Finally, item enhancements will always be a Great Success, and players can also enjoy a 10% boost to the Augmentation Success Rate and Preset Skill Enhancement Success Rate.

Aside from that, players will also enjoy discounted costs for Limit Breaking, Unlocking Potentials, and making Multi-weapons.
