Payload Studios has announced the launch date for early access for their upcoming co-op PVE survival sandbox, TerraTech Worlds.

After a successful Next Fest, the game will now enter early access with a long-spanning roadmap. An official announcement trailer was also revealed for the game.

The developers expressed their excitement about the game entering early access in a statement:

We are so excited to finally get TerraTech Worlds into the hands of Early
Access players. Community involvement is essential to our development
process, so this is where the fun really starts,” says studio founder,
Russell Clarke. “We are already planning upcoming milestones, and a huge
component of this will be responding to feedback and steering based on
community activity – so we can’t wait to see what players will make and
do in this first release.

According to Payload Studios, the public roadmap which includes early access spans more than 12 months and is set to deliver, flight, fresh planets, boss battles, and much more.

Early access for TerraTech Worlds is set to launch on Steam on March 22, 2024. Players who are interested in trying out the game can now wishlist it on Steam.

TerraTech Worlds

TerraTech Worlds is an open-world, pvE survival game set on distant alien planets. Created in Unreal Engine 5, the sandbox survival builder is a multiplayer experience that supports up to 6 players.

During February’s Next Fest, TerraTech Worlds became one of the most wish-listed titles of the event, with 100,00 demo downloads and more than 70,000 unique players.

Build

Players can freely create and customize their vehicles, courtesy of the intuitive modular building system. By collecting new Blocks, you will unlock more building opportunities, which you can use to design, construct, and upgrade your Techs and bases.

Explore

The world of TerraTech Worlds is full of uncharted territories and untold wonders. Venture into strange forests, soar high above treacherous terrain, and traverse rivers and oceans.

Expand

By terraforming hostile planets and harvesting their resources, you can expand your reach across the world. Craft infrastructure and outposts to establish your foothold, then dominate other planets by expanding and protecting your bases.

Battle and Co-op PvE

Enemy bandits will be a constant threat in your journey. Players can choose from a wide variety of weapons to equip their Techs with and fight off the enemies. Enter into combat to protect your territory. You can also choose your character and define your role as part of a team of up to four independent Prospectors.
