The Walking Dead: Our World Mobile AR Game Launches Pre-Registration!

The Walking Dead: Our World is an AR game for the iOS and Android that was announced back in August 2017. Next Games and AMC collaborated to bring this AR (Augmented Reality) game for the mobile which has also been soft-launched on Google Play Store in the Philippines.

Just like Pokemon Go, the game features geolocation and AR systems which is able to pin-point your location and project virtual zombies on your map. There will be sites you’ll need to visit to complete missions and also collect ammo if you need some (like Pokestops in Pokemon Go).

There are lootboxes in the game which will provide players with resources and upgrades to weapons. The game made based off The Walking Dead series will also have players recruiting characters from the movie to help them in battles. As seen in the trailer above, characters will appear in your screen to assist you with the zombie culling.

Pre-registrations are up for both iOS and Android on their official site. Now that the game is already soft-launched in the Philippines, it should be pretty close to complete for a global release. So do pre-register up to get notified or follow our page for more updates.
