Konami has announced that Malaysian football legend Safee Sali will be making his way into eFootball 2024, as well as new features being added to the game.

Safee Sali, a renowned name in the Malaysian football scene, has officially joined the roster of eFootball 2024.

As the first Malaysian football legend to be featured in the game, Safee’s in-game representation will be featured with the EPIC card type, highlighting the significance of his contribution to football in the region.

“Seeing myself in eFootball 2024 is like reliving a personal journey. It brings back memories and connections I made through football. I hope fans and gamers enjoy sharing a piece of my journey, get a feel for my football skills & attributes, and score amazing goals. I’m really grateful for this recognition—it means a lot to me.” said Safee regarding the launch.

New Game Modes

In line with Konami’s partnership with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the integration of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 Qatar, featuring the Malaysian National Team (Harimau Malaya), is now a reality in eFootball 2024.

Additionally, a Season Mode along with a Co-Op mode have been added to the game, enhancing the overall experience players can get in eFootball 2024.

#LIVEYOURPASSION Campaign

Concurrent with the launch of Safee Sali in eFootball 2024, a localised “Live Your Passion” campaign has kicked into high gear.

Live Viewing Events for Malaysia matches in the AFC Asian Cup and a Campus Tour, spanning various universities across Malaysia, have been initiated.

As part of the campaign, participants have the opportunity to engage in various content and challenges, with prizes being handed out for those who contribute to the campaign.
