Xiaomi is gracing the mid-range phone market once again with the new Redmi Note 13 series, a new lineup of devices packed with upgraded flagship features and enhanced accessibility to the masses.

Both the Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G not only come with a powerful processor that enables smooth performance but also an impressive set of cameras that capture photos in vivid stunning visuals. So how does the Redmi Note 13 series make ‘Every Shot Iconic’?

      Design

Durably built, each device in the Redmi Note 13 line comes with a premium design and industry-leading ultra-slim bezels, offering a sleek look and feel. The ultra-slim bezels in particular are a feature worth highlighting, allowing for an immersive viewing experience for videos, gaming, or browsing social media with its maximum display.

For those who want to stand out from the crowd, the Redmi Note 13 comes with a variety of rather unique color options, including Midnight Black, Mint Green, and Ocean Sunset. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G will be available in Midnight Black, Ocean Teal, and a unique Aurora Purple with multi-colored pastel around the camera module.

      Display & Durability

As mentioned, the devices in this lineup come with ultra-slim bezels, which pair very well with its vibrant 6.67″ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display resolution for the non-Pro models of Redmi Note 13 series comes in FHD+, while the Pro models will feature a 1.5K display resolution.

With a DCI-P3 wide color gamut, expect vivid and crisp imagery, particularly when viewing photos, videos, and gaming. Speaking of gaming, the 120Hz refresh rate makes games and casual browsing look especially smooth in motion.

When it comes to durability, the Redmi Note 13 is built with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes with a Corning Gorilla Victus, making them quite resistant to shatter.

There is also no need to worry too much about soaking in the rain as well, thanks to the water resistance of the devices with the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G having an IP54 rating, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G with an IP68 rating, a first in the Redmi Note 13 series. This makes the phones great for outdoor activities.

      Camera

Onto the camera, which is one of the phone’s biggest highlights with all devices in the Redmi Note 13 series featuring a rear triple camera setup.

The Redmi Note 13 offers a 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, while paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Coupled with the powerful Xiaomi Imaging Engine, the next-generation image processing, expect images to look vivid and sharp with plenty of room for creative shots, whether close-up product shots or outdoor sceneries. Featuring 3x in-sensor, lossless zoom, this phone is also capable of capturing images of faraway objects such as buildings with stunning clarity.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G has an ultra-high resolution 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) for not only amazing-looking photographs but also stable action-packed videos. With its 2x/4x in-sensor, lossless zoom, the device offers flexibility when snapping photos from afar with minimal loss in quality and producing images with clarity.

Not only that, the camera is also supported by the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor, capable of producing crystal-clear images even in low-light conditions, ideal for night sceneries photoshoots. Meanwhile, the 7P lens with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) reduces flare and ghosting, making photos bright and clear while under extreme lighting conditions.

Together with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is a flexible device for those who have a keen eye for mobile photography. Ideal for both outdoor and indoor photoshoots, making every shot Iconic.

Both devices also come with a 16MP front camera, producing great images for selfie shots and video voice calls.

Built with power-efficient and capable processors, the Redmi Note 13 is equipped with a Snapdragon 685, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.

These powerful processors enable a smooth browsing and gaming experience with the capability to even run demanding games with no hiccups. Even when the batteries are drained, they can be topped up quickly with the phones’ fast charging functions with 33W fast charging for the Redmi Note 13 and a 67W turbo-charging for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, which enables a full charge to 100% in just 44 minutes.

In terms of audio, all devices in the Redmi Note 13 series come with Dolby Atmos, which pairs well with the beautiful display for a highly immersive visual audio experience. For those who own well-tuned earphones and IEMs, the Redmi Note 13 series also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack with the exception of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

Both the Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G will also come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock for heightened security.
