Xiaomi has just announced the Redmi Note 13 Series in Malaysia which features four devices with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, and Redmi Note 13, along with an assortment of other Redmi devices.
Camera System
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G feature a 200MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as a 2x/4x in-sensor lossless zoom which offers detailed close-ups even from a distance.
The camera systems are supported by a large 1/1.4″ sensor and improved image processing, ensuring image quality even in low light conditions.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13 are equipped with a 108MP main camera with 3x lossless zoom, and both smartphones also come with a wide selection of filmCamera filters for users to customise their photos.
With a triple camera setup comprising a 200MP or 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera, all of these devices are supported by Xiao Imaging Engine.
AMOLED display and Up to 120Hz Refresh Rate
Redmi Note 13 Series features a sleek design with ultra-slim bezels, and a high-quality display for an enhanced user experience and immersive viewing.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes with a 1.5K AMOLED display and 1800 nits peak brightness, while the Redmi 13 5G and Redmi Note 13 feature a FHD+ AMOLED display.
All Redmi Note 13 Series devices come with a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, making viewing experiences smoother and clearer.
The Redmi Note 13 Series devices have TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly certifications, and include various eye protection features, such as Reading mode.
Durability
The Redmi Note 13 Series offers durability and toughness, introducing Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G features an upgraded structure combined with an IP68 dust and water resistance certification, while the other models offer IP54 dust and splash resistance.
Processors
A 4nm process has been introduced for the first time to Redmi Note smartphones, where the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and offers 120W HyperCharge, allowing your Redmi Note to charge up to 100% in 19 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5,100mAh battery and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform and offers 67W turbo charging, taking 45 minutes to charge to 100%; whereas the base model come with a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi Watch 4
The new Redmi Watch 4 is equipped with a 1.97′ AMOLED display and packs an upgraded 4-channel PPG sensor for improved accuracy for heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring.
On top of more than 150 sports modes, the smart watch also comes with Bluetooth calling that allows users to answer calls by raising their hand and tapping.
The Redmi Watch 4 is available with either a Silver Grey or Obsidian Black bezel plus a matching strap, or a choice of Pastel Purple, Dark Cyan, or Mint Green coloured straps.
Redmi Buds 5 Pro
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro supports LDAC Bluetooth codec with up to 52dB active noise cancellation (ANC) and offers a choice of three ANC modes, an AI adaptive mode, and three additional transparency modes; users can also personalise their audio experiences with five different EQ profiles.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro supports up to 10 hours of continuous listening and up to 38 hours of constant use when paired with its case, and it comes in Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Aurora Purple.

Redmi Buds 5 features up to 46dB ANC with three modes that cover a range of background noises.
Additionally, three transparency modes allow users to hear more of what they want and less of what they don’t.
The Redmi Buds 5 also supports up to 10 hours of continuous listening and up to 40 hours of use when paired with its charging case, and the earbuds come available in three colours: Black, White, or Sky Blue.
Redmi Buds 5 series supports use of Xiaomi Earbuds app, which is compatible with a variety of smartphone brands; the app also features a variety of functionalities such as personalized noise cancellation, intelligent ambient-adaptive noise cancellation, customised EQ tuning, and built-in immersive sound.

From 20th January, the Redmi Note 13 Series will be available for purchase at Authorised Xiaomi stores, and at official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and Shopee, while The Redmi Watch 4, Redmi Buds 5 Pro, and Redmi Buds 5 are available for purchase starting from 16th January 2024.
Redmi Note 13 Series
Redmi note 13 Pro+ 5G comes in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Purple, with two storage variants (12GB+512GB / 8GB+256GB) with a starting price of RM1,599; whereas the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes in Midnight Black, Ocean Teal, and Aurora Purple, with one storage variant (8GB+256GB) priced at RM1,399.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 5G comes in Graphite Black, Ocean Teal, and Arctic White with one storage variant (8GB+256GB), starting from RM1,099; while the Redmi Note 13 comes in Midnight Black, Mint Green and Ocean Sunset, with two storage variants (8GB+256GB / 6GB+128GB) staring from RM 749.
Redmi Watch 4
The Redmi Watch 4 comes in Silver Gray and Obsidian Black with matching straps at RM459.
Redmi Bud 5 Pro and Redmi Buds 5
Redmi Buds 5 Pro comes in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Purple at RM299; whereas the Redmi Buds 5 comes in Black, White and Sky Blue at RM199.
