Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning Movie Gets Malaysia Release Date

The new Digimon movie, titled Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, has received a release date for Malaysia.

According to the GSC Movies YouTube Channel, the Digimon movie will release in Malaysia on 30th November 2023, exclusively at GSC Cinemas.

Set in the same continuity as the first two Digimon television anime series, which ran for 50 episodes from April 2000 to March 2001, the movie serves as the series finale of the Digimon Adventure 02 story.

The movie takes place in the year 2012, ten years after the original adventures between Odaiba and the Digital World took place.

Despite having set out on their own paths, Daisuke and the other DigiDestined are still bound together by the same bond with partner Digimon.

One day, Davis Motomiya, Ken Ichijouji, Yolei Inoue, Cody Hida, T.K. Takaishi, and Kari Kamiya are reunited after encountering a boy named Lui Ohwada, who is found with a depowered Digivice, claiming to be the first ever DigiDestined.

Furthermore, a Digimon named Ukkomon appears, wanting every person in the world to have their own digimon partner.

The DigiDestined are prepared to embark on yet another adventure, this time as adults.

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning will be releasing in Malaysia a month after the Japanese premier in late October.
