Armored Core VI Collector’s Edition Unboxing – Time for an Premium Mecha Upgrade

As pilots prepare to engage in all-out mecha battle in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, on our desk, lies the Collector’s Edition, ready to bombard us with all its cataclysmic glory.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has kindly sent us this beautiful piece of a package, so without further ado, let’s unbox the Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Collector’s Edition and see what AC goodness lies within.

An Armored Core that Dominates 

The Collector’s Edition of Armored Core VI is gargantuan for a good reason as it comes with a great collection of goodies for AC fans, including a mecha model, art book, and other surprises.

On the box, the game’s beautifully haunting key visual decorates the package and its size is perfect for display.

As we opened the box, we were treated to parts of an Armored Core prepared to be assembled for its next battle. Fret not, as the box did include a Building Manual for you to quickly assemble the mecha and arm it with its guns.

Once assembled, the Armored Core model can be displayed on its own garage-style Stand and various attachable weapons can be placed on the war-ready machinery.

Mech Blueprints for Mech Fans 

In addition to the mighty Armored Core model, the Collector’s Edition also comes with a hardcover art book that features concept artwork for the game from talented artists and designers in FromSoftware.

Within the art book contains various illustrations from concept art of the Armored Core mechas and weapons, to paintings of the environment of Rubicon 3.

Apart from the art book, you can also find 4 pin badges shaped like the in-game emblem as well as a set of stickers of various in-game symbols, a great way to display your faction affiliation and ranking like a true Armored Core fan.

Furthermore, the box also comes with a SteelBook case to house your game disk, featuring a metallic design with a manga-like artwork of a mecha. Of course, a copy of the game comes included in the box so you can choose between a regular physical copy or the beautiful SteelBook case to house your game.

AC Armor to Protect Your Controllers

In addition to the Collector’s Edition, Bandai Namco Entertainment has also sent us an Armored Core VI controller case which comes separately to protect your controllers.

The black controller case has a leather cover with the grey linework of an Armored Core, as though it is stationed to protect your controller as you carry it around.
