Electronic Arts (EA) announced EA SPORTS FC 24, their first major football since its split with FIFA after 30 years of partnership.

During a global event in Amsterdam, the publisher unveiled the game together with its cover star – Manchester City and Norway striker, Erling Haaland alongside fellow football stars Johan Cruyff, Pelé, Zinédine Zidane, Ronaldinho, Didier Drogba and others. 

The game is set to launch worldwide on 29th September 2023 and will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Features

EA SPORTS FC 24 is being developed on an enhanced Frostbite™ Engine, delivering the game in a higher level of realism through highly detailed redesigned player models. 

EA also reveals a new cutting-edge feature for the game called HyperMotionV, which collects data from over 180 professional football matches to produce lifelike movements. 

Another notable feature is PlayStyles, which will bring on-pitch abilities to make each athlete feel unique and is being optimized by Opta. 

PlayStyles will give each athlete special capabilities that players can see and feel, making their way of playing to be more authentic. 

EA SPORTS FC 24 will also bring men and women’s football to play on the same pitch together for the first time. 

Through the brand-new Ultimate Team feature, women footballers can be invited to the pitch and for players to craft diverse teams. 

Availability

The game is available for pre-order and will be launching worldwide to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on 29th September 2023.

Fans who pre-order the Ultimate Edition by 22nd August will receive an untradeable UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team™ Hero item in November. 

Early access to EA SPORTS FC 24 is also available on 22th September 2023 for all Ultimate Edition owners. 

Additionally, fans who play EA SPORTS FC 24 by 1st November 2023 will become a FC Founder. 

FC Founders will receive access to exclusive benefits such as an exclusive Founder badge and kit to represent their status over the years. 

Furthermore, EA Play members will receive early access to the game with a 10-hour trial session starting 22nd September. 

On the other hand, EA Play Pro members will be able to unlock additional bonuses for the game with monthly Draft Tokens in Ultimate Team, seasonal Clubs Rewards, and seasonal VOLTA FOOTBALL APPAREL & COINS.
