Square Enix has announced a new game entry will be coming for the Dragon Quest series set to launch on mobile.
The new Dragon Quest mobile game will be released for Android and iOS but not much has been revealed as of yet. However, they did mention that a livestream will take place on January 18th, 2023 that will reveal more information on the game including a gameplay footage.
The livestream will be broadcasted on YouTube so be sure to mark your calendar and head over to the Square Enix’s official YouTube channel when it goes live.
In addition, the game currently has a teaser website up with the countdown of the livestream featured so you can head over there to check it out.
There’s also a twitter campaign ongoing that rewards 50 lucky winners a special Dragon Quest tumbler for correctly guessing the game’s genre. Do note that the rewards are limited to Japan only.
While most Dragon Quest games are released for the consoles, there are two mobile original Dragon Quest games already available for both Android and iOS; Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero’s Bond and Dragon Quest Tact.
Currently the game is slated to release for Japan but the upcoming livestream could also include a global release announcement. Stay tuned for the latest update for when the broadcast goes live.
