The newly released anime movie Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will be coming to Malaysia on the 27th of October 2022. The movie will be screening exclusively at Golden Screen Cinema (GSC).

Here is a trailer for the film for those that would a sneak peek and Shinji’s final journey in his beloved robot.

“The fourth and final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion. Misato and her anti-Nerv group Wille
arrive in Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a
containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of Nerv Evas
appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei wander around Japan.”

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is the fourth and final entry in the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. This is a reboot of the original anime produced by series creator Hideaki Anno’s studio Khara.

The movie was originally released in Japan in March of 2021 over ten years after the previous movie in the series Evanlgeion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. While it took some time to get here, it’s great to see Evangelion return to Malaysian cinemas.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will premiere in Malaysia on the 27th of October 2022 exclusively at GSC.
