WHAT IS MYTHIC LEGENDS?

Mythic Legends is a strategy game wherein you place units on the board and they will automatically fight. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, you have to take into consideration your main Hero’s level, your units’ levels, any synergies you have among your deployed units, the deployment positioning, any passive effects you might get, and your opponent’s line up. Suddenly, there’s a whole lot more you have to consider. You could throw yourself into casual or ranked battles with other players in asynchronous multiplayer – meaning, you’re not reliant on opponents being online – or challenge events for rewards.

GET READY TO RUMBLE

You’ll first need to hit enough League Points to participate in either Events or Ranked Tournaments. Just keep on playing and you’ll be able to get great rewards at various point milestones, from currency to upgrade your heroes or duplicates to raise their levels. Once you’re done with the tutorial, you can always refresh your memory with the Quick Game Guide. As you unlock more Legends and Champions – basically your hero and your board units – this guide will be updated so you don’t need to worry about getting overwhelmed with too much information at once. You could always put things into practice by playing casual matches instead to get some hands-on learning. Take advantage of the daily and weekly quests to encourage you to try out a new composition, while getting rewards. Completing the quests progresses the monthly Battle Pass to get you more of those sweet rewards.

If you need a break from fighting other players, hop into the daily Events, Incursions or Dungeons! Here’s where you get Tokens which can then be exchanged for a selection of items, including exclusive units and the chests you’d normally buy with gems to help you upgrade both Legends and Champions. If you’re having fun with the game and have some money to spare, select purchases also come with Event Tokens to help you further along in redeeming those featured Event items. The Token Shop’s Featured Item rotates, so you’d certainly want to try catch those deals.

EASY TO PICK UP, HARD TO MASTER

I’d say you’re likely going to be sticking to only one Legend but then again, you’re meant to challenge yourself after all, and learning how to utilize your limited board space alongside the items – known as Artifacts – to secure victory. How will your synergies stack up against your opponent’s formation?
