Miko Note has announced its end of service, roughly a mere 3 months since the game launched in Japan. Miko Note will officially end service in July 2022, according to the official Twitter account’s announcement.

No fixed date has been provided for its imminent closure, but that will come in time along with the relevant announcements regarding refunds, event schedules up to July and story update that’s also been planned for late June. Purchases will be disabled from 31 May onwards.

That on its own doesn’t necessarily contribute to the swift death of a game as it has hardly stopped many others trying to use VPNs. It is pretty unfortunate that the game hasn’t appeared to resonate with players, with the official account not getting all that much interaction either.

The gist of Miko Note‘s story basically had you play a protagonist who lost their memory, and have found themselves in this world of miko, the gods they channel and the beings they fight against. Gameplay wise, it’s a pretty standard turn-based RPG with the difference being in your respective miko’s loadout that can be highly flexible should you be able to get a large variety of gods to equip them with.
