Not since Tokyo Game Show 2017 have we heard of new details regarding Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation, Sega’s upcoming strategy RPG game for the smartphones. We now have a new trailer showcasing the final product, which is shaping to be a game all of us are familiar with, albeit on a different platform.
To recap, as the protagonist, whose gender can be selected, you have the ability to summon demons using your smartphone via the ‘Devil Downloader’ (Dx) app. As a member of the “Liberators,” a secret organization tasked with protecting the world, you are embroiled in a conflict between Dx2 users. Alongside the video, Sega launched a complementary Dx2 Info companion application for Android, with the iOS version in the pipeline, which will provide users with latest game information, campaign news and videos. There is yet to be a release date for the game.
