A new lawsuit on the mounting legal troubles of Activision Blizzard paint yet another dire picture of the state of the company, as one employee describes in detail her experience there.

According to Bloomberg Law, one employee known only as Jane Doe had tried multiple times to get out of her sexist environment, only doing so after agreeing to take a lower position and reduced pay.

In the lawsuit, titled Doe v. Activision Blizzard, is looking for court orders against the game company such as for a rotating HR department, as well as a neutral investigative body to handle the sexual harassment complaints and the removal of CEO Bobby Kotick.

Her picture of the culture at Activision Blizzard isn’t very different from the one painted by the California DFEH lawsuit- her suit mentions things like the cubicle crawls, groping and an overall frat boy culture.

The suit goes on to allege that she had tried to complain about the harassment repeatedly- it wasn’t until she personally sent the complaint to then-president Allen J. Brack, having previously been told to stay quiet for fear of harming the company’s reputation.

The final piece of retaliation also seems to have come in the form of denying her a promotion after she spoke out about it in December of 2021, where she was trying to move to an executive assistant position.
