Arknights: Endfield – Gameplay demo and trailer revealed

After completing its countdown, Arknights: Endfield has finally released more details, revealing a gameplay demo and its 3D CG concept trailer. The trailer can be seen below:

Actual in-game demo of Arknights: Endfield, a real-time 3D RPG with strategic elements. Objective: The Barrens Your route has been mapped. Follow the nav points and complete the required objectives. Shock waves detected en route. Exercise caution and evade as required, Endministrator.

Similarly to Ex Astris, Arknights: Endfield also features running around in a 3D open space in its gameplay demo trailer, with a party member trailing behind you. There are some light platforming elements and appears to be more free form than its counterpart, though without engaging in battle, we can’t say for sure how similar or different its systems are.

It appears that we’ll be heading to perhaps-space, to a locale known as Talos-II. To note, the main Arknights universe takes place on a land known as Terra. From current appearances, the characters all look new, with many saying the key art is from Liduke who is also a prolific Arknights artist with Operators like Hellagur and Eunectes to name but two.

The main girl seems to be named “Supervisor Perlica”, with the official accounts appearing to note that information will come in due course. The official website has some story blurb and concept art, one you can read below:
