Square Enix has just launched a spinoff for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in the form of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Tap! Unlike its predecessor, Square Enix has gone with the cookie clicker clone route for this game, which is not even for mobile devices. Instead, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Tap! is being available for free on Facebook.
Players once fill in the shoes of Rain, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius’ protagonist, where you must go on to assemble a team of five characters. The pool isn’t particularly large at this point, as you are only limited to ones who are exclusive to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. There may be more down the line, so we will see. In any case, you are only able to only unlock the other characters by spending Lapis, the currency which you gain from playing the game, which, we would like to remind you, is a cookie clicker. As such expect upgrades and unlocks to be gated behind exorbitant amounts of Lapis.
