Kuro Games has confirmed that Wuthering Waves version 3.5, titled “Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns,” will go live on July 10. The update also marks the game’s arrival on Xbox Series consoles, bringing the free-to-play action RPG to yet another platform alongside its existing PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android versions.
The update centers on a new area called Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang, with three new main story quests tied to it: Chapter IV Act I “The Wind Before the Storm,” Chapter IV Act II “Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled,” and Chapter IV Segue “The Chant of Unseen Ties.” Players can also look forward to a new permanent event called Mingshen Notices.
Wuthering Waves officially arrives on XBOX on July 10th (UTC+8)!

Three new Resonators are being added: Yangyang: Xuanling, Suisui, and Rover: Electro. On the weapons side, Azure Oath and Firstlight’s Herald are joining the roster. Convene banners will run in two phases, with Phase I featuring Voices on Azure Feathers, Undefined Spectrum, and When Winter Thaws, and Phase II bringing Blessings From Dewy Winds and Take Flight in Spring.
Version 3.5 also comes with a number of quality-of-life improvements. Players can now assign different voice-over languages to individual Resonators for non-story content. The story Autoplay feature is getting an upgrade with two modes: Semi-Auto and Full Auto, the latter of which lets the story play through choices without stopping. A new Bioprinting feature lets players spend Regenerative Pistils to craft Resonator Ascension materials from past versions. On PC, Intel XeSS 3 Frame Generation support is being added for compatible Intel graphics processors, and a resource compression update will help cut down on client package size.
New outfits Peppermint for Lynae and Peach Parfail for Chisa are also part of the update, along with new Expedition Motorbike looks, accessory bundles, and a batch of new Echoes and Sonata Effects. Several limited-time events are lined up as well, including a combat event, a photo collection event, a login event, and a web event, among others.
Outside the game itself, Kuro Games will be at Anime Expo 2026 from July 2 to 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with an official panel scheduled for July 4 at the JW Marriott Platinum Ballroom. Pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 Deluxe Collection open on July 5.
