Where Winds Meet will be launching on mobile on December 12. Players can pre-download the game starting December 11 12AM MYT, which unlocks early character creation and a playable demo. The team released detailed platform requirements and shared new information about mobile features, cross-progression, and optimization plans.
Recommended and Minimum Specs for Android

Where Winds Meet requires Android 7.1 or higher and at least 8GB of RAM to run properly. The recommended hardware tier includes devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200, or the Samsung Exynos 2400 and above. These devices offer the strongest balance of performance, visual quality, and responsiveness.
The supported tier covers slightly older but still capable chipsets such as the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, the Dimensity 8000, and the Exynos 2200 or newer. Players using these devices can expect stable performance with minor adjustments to graphic settings.
The minimum tier consists of chipsets like the Snapdragon 778G, the Dimensity 1000L, and the Exynos 2100 or higher, which allow the game to run but may require reduced settings for smoother gameplay. Across all tiers, the developers aim to maintain stability, while the recommended tier delivers the best combat and visual experience.
Recommended and Minimum Specs for iOS

Where Winds Meet requires iOS 15 or newer on Apple devices. For the best results, the developers recommend using an iPhone 14 Pro or any later model powered by the A16 chip or above. This tier ensures the smoothest performance, faster loading times, and the highest visual fidelity available on mobile.
The supported tier extends to devices such as the iPhone 12 Pro and other models running on the A14 chip or newer. These devices maintain solid performance and provide a reliable gameplay experience.
The minimum tier begins with the iPhone 11 and other devices using the A13 chip. While the game still runs on this tier, players may need to lower graphical settings to maintain consistent performance. The developers optimized the experience across all compatible devices, but the recommended tier offers the most polished results.
Cross-Progression and Account Linking

Where Winds Meet enables full cross-progression and cross-play between mobile, PC, and console. Players can access all character data, progress, and purchases across devices.
However, players must link their mobile account before they create a character on mobile. If both accounts already contain character data, they will not be able to link them. The team encourages existing PC or console players to log in using their current account to avoid losing access to their progress.
Mobile Gameplay Adjustments

The developers aim to deliver the same wuxia experience across all platforms. Even so, they redesigned several systems to match mobile’s portability and accessibility.
New mobile characters can only select Story or Recommended difficulty at the start. Expert difficulty unlocks at Level 30 once players understand the core mechanics. The team suggests trying the highest difficulty, Legend, on PC first, as characters created at that difficulty retain it when logged in on mobile.
Assist Deflection turns on by default to help new players learn the combat system faster. Players can turn it off in Settings. Custom key layouts are not yet available on mobile, but the team plans to add full customization in a future update.
Optimization Status and Cutscene Differences

The developers continue to optimize the mobile version. Some real-time cutscenes exceed the performance limits of certain devices, so the team temporarily replaced them with video playback to maintain stability. These videos may use more mobile data, and the team plans to optimize them further based on player feedback.
