Bandai Namco has officially announced TEKKEN! CARTOON, a series of short cartoons based on characters from the long-running TEKKEN fighting game franchise. The announcement came with a teaser trailer that gives fans their first look at the project.
The trailer features live-action footage alongside animation that presents TEKKEN characters in a superdeformed style. Five characters appear in the footage: Kazuya, Kuma, Yoshimitsu, Paul, and Alisa.

The official teaser text from Bandai Namco reads: “Will this fight end in a draw? Your favorite TEKKEN characters are coming out of the ring and into the cartoon world! Keep an eye on our socials for more news about the TEKKEN! CARTOON.”
The production has a large team behind it. Sohta Ozawa of NERD is serving as director, with Amehiro handling character design and animation. Music and sound design is being led by in the blue shirt. On the creative side, Syohei Hashimoto and Hironori Hasegawa are both listed as Creative Director and Planner, while Masateru Miyamoto is the Planner. The overall project is being supervised by TEKKEN Project, the brand team behind the game series.
Beyond the teaser and staff list, further details about TEKKEN! CARTOON such as a release window, episode count, or distribution platform have not been announced yet. Bandai Namco has directed fans to follow their official social media channels for future updates on the project.
