Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble will be available as a limited-time Game Trial for Nintendo Switch Online members later this week, giving players full access to the game at no additional cost for a short period.
Publisher SEGA confirmed that the Game Trial will run from April 23 at 11:00 AM to April 29, 2026 at 4:59 PM (UTC+8), allowing subscribers to experience the complete version of the action party title during the event window.

Full Game Access Available During Trial Period

As part of the Game Trial promotion, Nintendo Switch Online members can download and play the full version of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble through the My Nintendo Store or Nintendo eShop.
Importantly, any save data created during the trial will carry over if players decide to purchase the game afterward. The Game Trial is also accessible to users currently using a Nintendo Switch Online free trial subscription.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble features over 200 stages in Adventure Mode, alongside a 16-player Battle Mode that supports both local and online multiplayer competition. The game also includes four-player split-screen support on a single system and a dedicated Story Mode featuring a new cast of characters.
Limited-Time Discount Runs Alongside the Trial

To coincide with the Game Trial event, SEGA is also offering a 65% discount on the digital version of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble for a limited time.
The sale begins April 21 at 11:00 PM (UTC+8) and runs until May 5, 2026 at 10:59 PM (UTC+8). Unlike the Game Trial itself, the discounted pricing is available to all players, regardless of whether they subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online.
The overlapping timing gives players the opportunity to try the full game first before deciding whether to purchase it at the reduced price.
A Good Entry Point for New Players

Originally released on June 25, 2024, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble blends classic stage-based gameplay with modern multiplayer-focused features. With the Game Trial offering unrestricted access for nearly a week, the promotion provides a strong opportunity for newcomers to explore both its single-player content and large-scale party modes before committing to a purchase.
