During the Gymnastics event in Paris Olympics yesterday, China’s Team used one of Snowbreak: Containment Zone‘s background music (BGM) for their performance. This BGM was used during the MingDeng Ritual Event and was Snowbreak’s first big event update.

A reddit post containing the video has been uploaded and many have commented about the game’s producer’s reaction. Commenters have even joked about a new skin coming to Snowbreak: Containment Zone because of this.

Snowbreak: Containment Zone, the MingDeng Ritual event, Chenxing was the featured character on the banner. During the event period, players will follow the story of Chenxing as she works on an escort mission on the day of Mingdeng Jie. As players clear the event stages, they can obtain items that can then be exchanged at the event shop for various rewards. The Mingdeng Ritual event was held in 3 phases spanning for a month from August 7th, 2023 to September 21st, 2023.

This isn’t the first time that a game’s music was used during the Olympics as one was used during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
