Arc System Works has announced the release date of Sin Kiske, the next daredevil coming to Guilty Gear Strive.

According to the new trailer, Sin Kiske will release in Guilty Gear Strive on the 24th of November.

Just like his previous appearance in Xrd, Sin Kiske is a powerful rushdown character, having access to big special moves that come at the cost of his unique Stamina mechanic.

This allows him to cancel special moves into each other, similarly to Nagoriyuki from the game’s base roster.

Unlike in Xrd, however, they’ve done away with the food mechanic where he recovers by eating, instead having him recover stamina over time.

Instead, the food now provides him random bufffs, though Arc System Works hasn’t explained what the nature of these buffs are just yet.

He also sports two supers based off of other characters in the game- his first Overdrive is RTL, a variant of Ky Kiske’s Ride The Lightning which features the ability to change directions and its own follow up.

Meanwhile his second overdrive, Tyrant Burl, is based off of Sol’s Tyrant Rave, and loses the invulnerability of its inspiration in exchange for more damage.

Sin’s addition to the Strive roster has been an open secret in the community- the character appears in the new story mode, with many fans excited to see the return of Ky’s son.
