Rules of Survival by NetEase was launched back in November 2017 and has already seen over 100,000,000 downloads worldwide and has even made it for the PC. With the game officially made available globally on the 7th of February 2018, NetEase also took the opportunity to also launch their 8×8 map! The newly added maps can sustain up to 300 players in a match which causes bloodbath early in a match.

After going through numerous playtesting, NetEase launched the global version fully updated with the new 8×8 map that promises players an epic and thrilling experience. While the number of players has doubled up to 300 along with the scale of map, players are expected to be lost in new terrains with jaw dropping sceneries of the beach, Gobi desert, coal mines and even treacherous swamps.

Even the vehicles in the game has gotten a full update which can be seen through their air, sea and land transportation that can be used to explore the new 8×8 maps. While the game also integrated new entertainments onto the starting island, players can now choose to either relax for a beach holiday, sing their best tune on a big stage or even watch a firework show just to name a few. Now there’s more stuff to do on the starting island during that 60-second countdown before they pit themselves against 300 other players in a brutal life-or-death situation.

Though the game had just implemented the 8×8 map, fans around the world had already given their applause for NetEase’s update for the game. On a Facebook post published by the official channel teasing the launch, it received over 22,000 likes and over 2,400 shares on the first day itself. Even more amazing was that gamers in China was seen queuing and vying to join the game till midnight in the Beta server.
