Pokémon Pokopia is bringing a unique collaboration to Nintendo Switch 2 players, as a special IKEA cloud island goes live starting April 1, 2026. Running through June 30, this in-game event celebrates the 20th anniversary of IKEA’s arrival in Japan and offers fans a mix of immersive experiences and exclusive rewards.

Special Rooms Designed by IKEA

The cloud island will feature two themed rooms, each designed by actual IKEA designers. One room draws inspiration from Pikachu, capturing the character’s signature charm and energy, while the other takes cues from Snorlax, highlighting comfort and relaxation. These in-game designs will also be recreated in participating Japanese IKEA stores, allowing players to experience the collaboration in real life.

In-Store Activities and Exclusive Rewards

In addition to the themed rooms, IKEA stores will host a stamp rally from April 18 to May 10. Participants can collect seven unique Pokémon Pokopia-themed stamps across various stations within participating stores. The IKEA cafeterias will also join in the celebration by featuring Pokémon-themed decorations on desserts, adding a playful twist to their menu.

Fans can also receive themed stickers and take part in exclusive raffles. These special activities are only available during the event period and while supplies last, so fans are encouraged to participate early. Together, these initiatives create a fun, interactive experience that extends beyond the digital game.
