ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially announced the availability of its 2026 gaming laptop lineup, bringing new hardware across four models — the ROG Zephyrus Duo, ROG Strix SCAR 18, ROG Strix G16, and ROG Strix G18. All models run on the latest Intel Core processors and are paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series laptop GPUs.
The headline product this year is the ROG Zephyrus Duo (2026), which ROG claims is the world’s first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop. It features two 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens that together offer over 21 inches of total diagonal screen space. Both panels carry a 0.2ms response time and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the main screen also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. Peak brightness sits at 1100 nits, and the screens are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certified. For those who use their machine for creative work, the displays cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space with a Delta E of less than 1, meeting professional color accuracy standards.

One of the more unique features on the Zephyrus Duo is its detachable magnetic keyboard. It works as a standard laptop keyboard but can also be removed and used wirelessly over Bluetooth. Despite being just 5.1mm thin, it offers 1.7mm of key travel, which is on par with other premium gaming laptops. The touchpad has also been enlarged compared to the previous generation.
For users who want top-tier performance, the ROG Strix SCAR 18 (2026) is the most powerful model in the lineup. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU running at a maximum TGP of 175W. Total system power has been increased from 255W to 320W, which allows both the CPU and GPU to operate closer to their limits. The SCAR 18 supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, and is positioned as a desktop replacement aimed at gamers, content creators, developers, and AI users.

Rounding out the lineup are the ROG Strix G16 and G18 (2026), which also run on the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus but are paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. Both models feature the latest ROG display technology and cooling systems, and come with tool-less chassis designs that let users upgrade components without needing to crack open the machine with a screwdriver. Like the SCAR 18, they support DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation for higher frame rates.

All four laptops are available in stores across Malaysia from June 26, 2026 onwards. Buyers who purchase any of these models by July 17 can take advantage of early bird bundles worth up to RM2,948, while stocks last.
