Kadokawa Corporation has announced a new game based on the popular KONOSUBA anime series. Titled KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City!, the game will launch for PC, iOS, and Android in Japan sometime in 2026.

The game will feature an original story with production supervision by series creator Natsume Akatsuki and production cooperation from original illustrator Kurone Mishima. A teaser website for the game has also gone live alongside the announcement.

Both creators shared their thoughts on the new game. Natsume Akatsuki expressed excitement about the project and mentioned hoping the game will be friendly to solo players, referencing the character Yunyun. “I’d like to aim to be an independent solo player like Yunyun, so I hope the event design won’t exclude those who play alone,” Akatsuki said.

Kurone Mishima also celebrated the announcement, saying they’re happy to see the characters return in game form. “I’m truly happy to be able to meet Kazuma and the others again in this form. I hope many people will enjoy playing it!” Mishima added that they plan to play the game once it releases. No additional details about gameplay, pricing, or a specific release date have been announced yet.
