Infold Games has officially announced that Valko, who was set to be the sixth love interest in Love and Deepspace, will not be added to the game. The cancellation is permanent, and the company confirmed that Caleb will now be the final new bachelor ever added to the roster.

The announcement comes after a wave of negative reactions from a portion of the fanbase, particularly in Asia. Following the reveal that Valko, a werewolf EonCore head, would be joining the game as the sixth love interest, some players began boycotting, protesting, and harassing the company.

Their frustrations covered a range of issues, including the feeling that Infold was neglecting the main storyline and the development of existing characters like Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb. Players also raised concerns about the game becoming increasingly difficult for free-to-play users, a reference to an 0731 group appearing in-story that some felt pointed to WWII-era experimentation, and issues with specific elements of Valko himself.

In its official statement, Infold also addressed what comes next for the game. The team stated it will now focus on the main story and its five existing love interests going forward. On the content roadmap, Rafayel is set to receive new Memories and a new Companion in July 2026, Caleb will get a Main Story update in September 2026, and Sylus will follow with a Main Story update in November 2026. The five-star memories tied to those story chapters will be earnable for free.

With Valko’s cancellation now confirmed and no further love interests planned, Love and Deepspace is entering a new chapter focused entirely on deepening the existing cast and story rather than expanding the roster.
