Square Enix isn’t quite done sharing new information for Marvel’s Avengers. Kate Bishop, Hawkeye’s successor/protegé, will be the first additional playable character, Square Enix confirms.
During the Avengers War Table, the team gave us a look at a new trailer featuring the master archer. Her special missions take place after the game’s Reassembled campaign. According to the trailer, she’s looking for Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, after he goes missing looking for Nick Fury.
Her story missions make use of Tachyon Rifts- late game content for players who are at level cap. However, Square Enix did not confirm or deny if her missions would actually require players to complete these rifts.
The trailer didn’t elaborate too much on her playstyle, outside of several features. As an archer she’ll have access to her bow and arrows, Additionally, it looks like Kate Bishop will also have some form of teleportation.
Unlike the previously announced Spider-Man, Kate Bishop will be available in all versions of the game.
