Last night saw the live concert for the popular anime franchise Kaguya-sama : Love Is War. Along with the musical performances, they also announced the production for Season 3 of the popular anime. Additionally, an OVA was also announced.

Both the anime and OVA are scheduled for release in 2021. Seeing as the last season was approximately 45 chapters in length, it’s a safe assumption that a particularly important arc from the manga might make it into the season, if not the OVA.
The contents of the OVA are also not currently known. Fans on reddit have been in the throes of speculation, wondering if it would be the light novel spin-off of Kaguya-sama. Alternatively, it could also be related to the series spin-off manga, We Want to Talk About Kaguya-sama.
Kaguya-sama Wants To Be Confessed To: A Genius’ War of Love And Brains is a romantic comedy manga by Aka Akasaka. The story revolves around two members of the student council trying to trick the other into a romantic confession.
The anime made a huge splash in mainstream audiences with its special ending sequence. The sequence features a rotoscoped dance of the Student Council Secretary Fujiwara Chika, complete with its own song..
Since then the manga has gone on to have two anime seasons, a live-action movie as well as a live concert. Meanwhile, the manga is also ongoing with over 200 chapters.
