Frontier Works and developer Emma Create have announced Heroic Songs: The Remix, a new city-building x idol simulation game launching on September 15, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game will be priced at 2,500 yen and includes English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.
Build a Fan Sanctuary in a Fantastical World
The game blends city-building mechanics with idol simulation gameplay, tasking players with constructing a vibrant sanctuary—known as the Fanctuary—where idols can gather fans, hold concerts, and restore lost bonds across fantasy realms.
Players will begin in an empty field beneath the mystical World Tree, placing roads, structures, and concert stages to grow their city. As the Fanctuary develops, it draws in more fans and unlocks new performances and story events.
Rhythm Gameplay and Character Growth
Idol activities are central to game progression, featuring rhythm-style concert mini-games and tours across various themed worlds. Completing these events unlocks new recipes, stages, and narrative chapters, allowing idols to level up and shine even brighter.
A Journey of Music and Magic
The story follows an ordinary girl, Akari Sunohara who has a a deep admiration for idols, who finds herself trapped in a mysterious realm called the Void after a concert. Alongside the player and a flower spirit named Moku-san, Akari must rise as a beacon of hope and rebuild the world through music.
Heroic Songs: The Remix introduces five key heroines, each representing unique fantasy settings and storylines. As Akari and her fellow idols grow through their performances, players will unlock dedicated Character Stories that dive into each idol’s personal journey and charm.

- Ruri Tsukuyomi – The legendary Ultimate Idol whose legacy inspires Akari’s journey.

- Kagura – The wild rival from the traditional Japanese world of Karan Ashihara.
