The world’s fastest hedgehog meets the virtual songstress in a one-of-a-kind collaboration. From October 3, 8:00 AM to October 6, 7:59 AM (MYT), Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds hosts the Hatsune Miku Festival. Fans can race as Miku, unlock themed rewards, and speed through music-charged events that bring racing and rhythm together.

Hatsune Miku Hits the Track
For the first time ever, Hatsune Miku joins the roster as a playable racer, complete with her own exclusive machine—the Diva Macchina. The collaboration doesn’t just stop at visuals either. The update also brings five tracks from Project ONSOKU, a music crossover between Miku and Sonic that amps up the adrenaline while you drift and dash.
How to Join the Festival
Players can collect Festival Points during races to unlock special collaboration rewards. By joining one of three teams, you’ll compete under different race conditions—sometimes soaring through air tricks, other times racing with unique rules that shake up the action. The event is giving fans just three days to collect Miku-themed goodies and show off their skills.
Rewards, Customization, and More
Aside from unlocking Miku and the Diva Macchina, players can expect festival-exclusive gadgets, decals, and horns to personalize their rides. SEGA has also confirmed that some of these rewards may return in future updates, giving latecomers another chance to grab them.
Free Demo Available
If you haven’t tried Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds yet, SEGA has also released a free demo. You can test out customization options, gadgets, and jump into modes like Grand Prix or Time Trial. Better yet, save data carries over to the full game, so your progress won’t be lost if you decide to buy in.
