Characters are grouped into six tiers, ranging from SS to C. Each tier reflects how reliably a character performs in their intended role and how easily they fit into different team compositions.

Top-tier characters often combine strong numbers with flexible kits, while lower-tier characters tend to suffer from limited utility, strict team requirements, or narrow use cases. Importantly, lower-tier placement does not make a character unusable, but it does mean they are more easily replaced as rosters expand.

Top-Tier Standouts (SS Tier)

At the very top of the Version 1.0 meta are Laevatain, Ardelia, and Yvonne. These characters define their respective roles and provide value across a wide range of content.

Laevatain stands out as one of the strongest damage dealers in the game thanks to her exceptional area-of-effect damage and range. However, she demands heavy team support to function at peak efficiency. Ardelia offers rare versatility by combining healing with powerful debuffs, making her valuable in both offensive and defensive setups. Meanwhile, Yvonne excels as a Cryo damage dealer with flexible team options and built-in crowd control, although her effectiveness drops when enemies are widely dispersed.

Core Meta Picks (S Tier)

The S tier includes characters that serve as backbone units for specific elemental or physical teams. Characters such as Last Rite, Xaihi, Pogranichnik, and Lifeng shine when placed in the right compositions.

These operators often require synergy to unlock their full potential. For example, Xaihi functions almost exclusively within Cryo teams but dramatically raises their damage ceiling. Similarly, Pogranichnik and Lifeng anchor Physical teams through SP generation, debuffs, and consistent damage. While their flexibility is more limited than S units, their impact within their niche is undeniable.

Strong and Flexible Options (A Tier)

A-tier characters provide solid performance and versatility without fully defining the meta. Units like Endministrator, Perlica, and Wulfgard often act as substitutes or flexible slots within teams.

Although these characters may lack the raw power or specialization of higher-tier picks, they remain valuable due to reliable kits and useful mechanics such as SP generation, elemental application, or situational damage spikes. In many cases, A-tier characters perform well enough to clear content comfortably, especially in the early stages of the game.

Situational and Niche Picks (B and C Tier)

Lower-tier characters tend to suffer from restricted roles, weaker numbers, or mechanics that rely heavily on enemy behavior. Defenders like Ember and Catcher offer protection and survivability, but their limited utility makes them less attractive compared to higher-tier alternatives.

Similarly, characters in the C tier possess niche strengths but struggle to justify a slot when stronger options are available. These operators may still find use in specific encounters, yet they rarely form the core of a team.
