POCO just announced new additions to its flagship series as well as a new X8 model that promises to deliver unmatched endurance. Both models feature a strong focus on performance and mobile gaming.

Senior Product Marketing Manager Kang Lou stated, “We’re delivering ultimate performance through cutting-edge technologies and gaming innovations, while POCO F9 Pro brings together flagship gaming power and a well-balanced, versatile experience for more users.”

Starting with the flagship F9 Ultra, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and POCO’s in-house VisionBoost D8 graphics chip. Gaming with the F9 Ultra is also an eye-candy experience, thanks to its 185Hz AMOLED display. 

The powerful combination allows for fast and powerful performance, with POCO promising that it can deliver up to 185 frames per second in ultra-high settings. Playthroughs are also lengthy with the F9 Ultra, thanks to its enormous 8,050mAh battery, alongside its 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

POCO is also partnering with Bose for the F9 series. The audio giant was able to affix the phones with a 2.1-channel speaker system with a dedicated rear subwoofer.

Meanwhile, the POCO F9 Pro is kitted with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series. However, it retains the 185Hz display and VisionBoost D8 graphics chip from the Ultra model. It features an alluring 6.59-inch AMOLED panel and a beefy 6,330mAh battery, making it another high-performance option for mobile gamers.

POCO also surprised everyone with the announcement of POCO X8. It’s at a more affordable price point while delivering flagship-like specs. The X8 features a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and a beautiful 6.83-inch AMOLED display.

Its biggest selling point is its endurance, lasting up to two days on a single charge, depending on its use. Packed with an unreal 8,340mAh battery with 67W charging, users can easily play for several hours on this device.
