Publisher FuRyu and developer Winning Entertainment Group, have announced ANOMALITH, a survival third-person shooter headed to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The game is set to launch worldwide on October 29.
In the west, ANOMALITH will be available digitally in two editions: a standard edition at $49.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99. Japanese players on PS5 and Switch 2 will also have access to physical copies, though the Switch 2 version will ship on a game-key card rather than a traditional cartridge.
The game is set in an alternate reality during a time period listed only as “the year 19**.” Mysterious spatial disturbances called “Otherworlds” have begun appearing across the world without explanation. A government agency called the Danger Zone Countermeasures Office has been unable to stop or even understand them.
ANOMALITH blends third-person shooting with survival mechanics. Enemies move unpredictably and aggressively, and players can follow up on stunned enemies with melee attacks. The environments themselves are designed to be disorienting, including an apartment with inverted gravity and a train that appears to have no end.
Careful inventory management plays a role in how well players handle the threats they encounter. Reona can also gain and upgrade both active and passive abilities through a system called “Demi-Humanization,” which draws from her connection to the anomalies.

On the customization side, the game offers a wide selection of weapons, attachments, and artifacts that can affect gameplay in positive or negative ways. Reona’s outfit can also be customized through more than 300 items spread across nine different parts of her appearance.
Between missions, players return to a home base where they can interact with supporting characters, unlock upgrades, and learn more about the world. Over 200 investigation reports can be collected throughout the game, covering the behaviors and details of the various anomalies and objects found in the Otherworlds.

ANOMALITH brings together a notable group of creators. Romeo Tanaka, known for his work on Stella of the End and Humanity Has Declined, is handling the scenario. Character design is being handled by MON, recognized for work on Nisio Isin’s Legends series. Composer Yuka Kitamura, whose credits include Elden Ring, Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Dark Souls III, is composing the game’s music.
