Civilization: Eras & Allies Officially Launches Across Asia

2K has officially launched Civilization: Eras & Allies, a new mobile strategy game based on the popular Sid Meier’s Civilization series. The game is now available for free download on both App Store and Google Play throughout Asia.

This mobile version brings the classic Civilization experience to smartphones and tablets, featuring real-time battles and a shared global map where thousands of players can compete at the same time. The game supports five languages at launch: English, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesia. To celebrate the launch, 2K released a trailer called “Write Your Legend” that shows off the game’s epic scale and focuses on how forming alliances can change the course of battles.

What Makes This Game Different

Civilization: Eras & Allies is built specifically for mobile devices while keeping the strategic depth that fans expect from the series. Players take on the role of leaders, building their own civilizations and commanding famous historical figures as they compete against other players worldwide.

The game can handle up to 6,000 players per server, allowing for large-scale battles and real-time diplomacy. Players can form alliances with others and engage in player-versus-player combat, all designed to work smoothly on mobile devices.

One major feature is the Bond System, which lets players recruit legendary leaders from history and combine them to create powerful strategic advantages. This system allows for different tactical approaches and deeper gameplay options.

The game also uses a seasonal format that changes every 30 days. Each season brings new rewards, game mechanics, and strategies, keeping the experience fresh for players who want to keep improving their approach.
