Blade & Soul NEO, the highly anticipated remaster of NCSoft’s signature MMORPG, is set to launch on February 25, 2025. Players will be able to dive into the game for free on PC, with early access opportunities leading up to the release.

This remastered version boasts significant graphical improvements, including enhanced textures, lighting, and animations, thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. Players can expect smoother gameplay and a more immersive environment, adding depth to the signature martial arts-inspired combat system. A key new feature is the Infinite Windwalk system, which allows unlimited movement in the air, opening up exciting new possibilities for exploration. Character creation also gets a significant upgrade, offering deep customization tools where players can design unique avatars down to the smallest details, from body size to facial structure, and even share their designs with others.

Pre-Download and Early Access Features

To make the most of the February 25 launch, players can pre-download Blade & Soul NEO starting February 11 via NCSoft’s Purple platform, ensuring a smooth launch. Character creation will open a week later on February 18, giving players time to reserve their names and fine-tune their designs.

For those looking to further personalize their experience, pre-order bundles offering exclusive cosmetics and in-game currency will be available, while those who pre-register will receive a special cosmetic package.

In addition to the game’s launch, NCSoft is also hosting creative contests for players. The Loading Screen Contest will allow five winning artists to see their artwork featured in-game, while the Costume Design Contest will offer one lucky winner the chance to have their custom outfit added to the game.
