Arknights Global: Walk in the Dust schedule revealed

Arknights Global is finally getting its next event in Walk in the Dust, in addition to a whole host of interface updates.

The event will run from 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 21 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7, opening in two parts:

• Walk Alone: 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 14 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7
• The Endless Road: 7 October 2021, 16:00 UTC -7 to 14 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7

5-star Defender Operator, Heavyrain, will be available to obtain from the event shop.

The Erg Passenger Headhunting will run from 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 14 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. The Operators on rate-up are:

• 6-star: Caster Passenger (NEW)
• 5-star: Sniper Toddifons (NEW), Sniper Sesa

The new Operators are not limited.

Bloodline of Combat skins for Hellagur and Shirayuki will be available from 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 14 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. The other outfits from this series will also be rerun simultaneously:

• 18 OP: Hellagur (NEW), Saria, Angelina, Lappland, Executor
• 15 OP: Shirayuki (NEW), GreyThroat, Midnight

The Critical Response Team Office Furniture Set will be in the shop from 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 14 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. Several pieces will also be obtainable from the Walk in the Dust event.

Last but not least, from 30 September 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 onwards, new Operators will be obtainable from Recruitment:

• 6-star: Caster Mostima
• 5-star: Specialist Waai Fu
• 4-star: Sniper May

For Walk in the Dust‘s release on the CN server, this was essentially the prelude to the second anniversary event, Under Tides. It won’t be the global version’s anniversary yet until January, so we’ll have to see which event they will run – the CN summer Dossoles Holiday event featured a limited Operator as well.

As for UI updates, changes include:

• New Pinboard and Campaign Missions
  • 5-star Vanguard Texas on completion of Pinboard Missions
• Support Unit system optimized
  • Sorted by classes, with a maximum of 9
  • Refresh limit removed, replaced with a cooldown
• Glossary
  • Explains various terms from base skills, talents, etc.
• “Terminal”
  • For Main Story chapters, events, rotating supply stages etc.
