The Alchemist Code will be having a collaboration with The Rising of the Shield Hero / Tate no Yuusha no Narigari! This applies to the Japanese server, which will see this collaboration commence on 1 May. The news was revealed on a special Spring livestream, which is available in its entirety below:
As you might expect, some of the latter’s iconic characters will be making playable appearances in the game. An original scenario will also be written for this collaboration.
Naofumi Iwatani, Raphtalia, Filo and Melty will all be representing the Shield Hero crew in the Alchemist Code collaboration. See previews of their appearances in-game as follows:
Associated Mementos, collaboration items as well as quests and enemies will likewise be coming to the game. Specifics of the items will be revealed at a later date. These collaborations typically have log in campaigns as well, which we’ll have to wait to see what they are.
Shield Hero features our hero Naofumi Iwatani, brought into a parallel world to become its heroes. He receives the Legendary Shield, the sole defensive equipment of the arsenal. After his reputation is tarnished, he eventually picks up Raphtalia and Filo as his travelling companions, as he works to rebuild his name and save the world too.
