Honkai Impact 3rd 5.2 Update Adds Mobius And Raven As Playable Characters

Honkai Impact 3rd has announced its 5.2 update, adding characters like Raven and Mobius to the list of playable valkyries when it releases October 21st.

In v5.2 Infinite Future, two new battlesuits, Midnight Absinthe and Infinite Ouroboros, will join players roster of playable valkyries.

These will be used by Raven and Mobius, two characters introduced in the game’s story and making their playable debut in the game.

As a World Serpent agent, former ace mercenary, and Stan Wars winner, players who’ve been keeping up with the game’s story would likely remember Raven.

Raven’s Midnight Absinthe is an IMG-type battlesuit, the fifth of the usable types by players in the game.

Instead of interacting with the main three types, it instead counters other IMG-type enemies, but can be countered by QUA-type characters as well.

Raven fights with archery and martial arts, and her special mechanic allows her to gain buffs and SP by picking up the feather items dropped by her Basic ATK, passive, and QTE. She can also heal herself by picking up the Bounty Coins dropped by the enemies she defeats.

Mobius, the Flame-Chaser who possesses the Signet of Infinity, will debut as S-rank battlesuit [Infinite Ouroboros]. Her special mechanic allows her to chain each Special ATK sequence into an enhanced Basic ATK, which is easy to execute and does not demand quick reflexes.

She’s now the second new flame-chaser added to the game, following Elysia in the previous update. 3

A New Story Chapter And More

Meanwhile, the Honkai Impact 5.2 update will also see the story heading in a new direction, as Otto leaves Shicksal, and players must explore Kolosten to discover if the Overseer has any tricks up his sleeve and uncover the truth.

Additionally, players can acquire the new weapons and stigma sets designed for Mobius and Raven. The new ELF Klein will debut as a Lightning DPS and support, whose switch CD reduction and Lightning Vulnerability attack are bound to make her an asset in the Arena and Abyss.

In the upcoming featured event [Valkyries’ Cafeteria], players can clear stages to gather ingredients and cook gourmet food to unlock rewards and snippets.
